Beeswax Fabric Wraps

Ty Newydd Trefdraeth Bodorgan Anglesey LL65 5EU

We make Beeswax Wraps as a reusable and plastic free alternative to clingfilm. Using organic cotton and local beeswax, along with pine resin and organic jojoba oil to make our wraps super sticky (but not sticky to the touch). You'll also find other reusable alternatives such as bread bags and face wipes.

What do you produce?

We make beeswax wraps, plant wax wraps as a vegan alternative, bread bags, face wipes and a few other hand sewn items are added from time to time.

Where do you source your ingredients / materials from?

Our beeswax is sourced from two local bee keepers here on Anglesey. We only use organic cotton to ensure we aren't contributing to the problems with traditionally grown cotton. Our jojoba oil is organic and pine resin is sourced from Europe. Our packaging is all recyclable, FSC certified and printed by a local business on Anglesey.

Why do your customers love your products?

They love how long the beeswax wraps last (easily a year and some have been going for 3 years!). But we also get comments about how good our wraps are compared to wraps people have tried previously. We worked hard to make sure they were sticky (but not sticky to the touch) so that they form a great seal keeping your food really fresh. It helps that I love fabric and spend a lot of time choosing designs that people seem to love, the fact the cotton is organic is also really important to many of our customers.

What are your best selling products?

The Kitchen Pack is the best seller because of how versatile it is. Three different sized wraps so you have all eventualities covered! Recently the bread bags have been flying off the shelves too. They are so pretty and great for home baked bread.

Where can we buy your products?

You can buy our beeswax wraps and other products direct from our website. We do have a number of stockists across Wales (and in Bristol!) where you can buy our wraps from other small businesses.

Are you open for visitors? If yes, what are your opening hours?

We don't have a bricks and mortar shop.

Have you received any awards / lovely recommendations from experts (don't be shy!)?

We won the 2023 Llais Cymru Green Business Award

Do you sell wholesale? If so how do we get in touch with you to discuss further?

Yes! Just send us an email or message us on social media and we can send you our wholesale catalogue.

Who's the best local producer near you (except you of course!)?

Ynys Twca. Huw makes beautiful, bespoke, hand crafted knives, coffee scoops, bread boards and runs bushcraft courses to learn valuable skills.
