What do you produce?
I bake sourdough loaves - plain, ancient grain, seeded, cheese, cinnamon - each loaf is crafted using my sourdough starter - named 'Seb'. I do not use commercial yeast, raising agents, additives or preservatives.
Where do you source your ingredients / materials from?
I source my flour from a family mill in Chester. I like to use local produce where possible, using local Uig honey and growing my own herbs on the kitchen windowsill.
Why do your customers love your products?
The allure is frshly baked bread is memerising. I bake to order, making sure that you get your loaf as fresh as possible - often within minutes of it coming out the oven!
What are your best selling products?
Multiseeded and cinnamon & raisin loaves seem to be the favourite of the local community who place repeat orders with me.
Where can we buy your products?
Order directly with me - via Instagram or Facebook message. I only bake a small number of loaves each day - so I will let you know if/when I have availability.
Are you open for visitors? If yes, what are your opening hours?
I bake Tuesdays to Saturdays most weeks. Sometimes my day job takes me travelling across the UK, but I'll always let you know when I am not available.
Who's the best local producer near you (except you of course!)?
Uig Lodge Smoked Salmon
