Ticklemore Cheese Dairy, located in Ashprington, Devon, is renowned for its handcrafted blue cheeses made from locally sourced milk from well managed farms. Their signature cheeses include: Devon Blue: a creamy blue cheese made from cow's milk, offering a rich and smooth flavour; Beenleigh Blue: crafted from ewe's milk, this cheese provides a fresh, lemony sweetness, making it a standout on any cheese board and Harbourne Blue: a distinctive goat's milk blue cheese with a unique taste and texture, reflecting the quality of the local milk used in its production. The dairy was originally established by Robin Congdon, a pioneer in reviving sheep milking in the UK during the 1970s. In October 2023, Ben and Laura Harris took over the operations, continuing the tradition of producing exceptional cheeses. Ticklemore Cheese Dairy's commitment to quality has been recognised with numerous awards, including a Super Gold for Devon Blue at the World Cheese Awards 2022, where it ranked 8th overall.
