Hello, I'm Harriet Charters.
I am a cut flower farmer based in the beautiful hamlet of Ashampstead Common in West Berkshire, on the Yattendon Estate. I started my cut flower farm after a lovely of gardening and a stressful job led to a change of focus, I grew the flowers for my own wedding and the bug was caught! As a trained Ecologist, my focus on the farm is to benefit both the wildlife and my customers. I grow through no-dig methods, focussing on keeping our soil structure settled and diverse, allow sleeping bees to carry on kipping on a flower rather than cutting it, and providing as much pollen and nectar for the ecosystem throughout the year as I can. My flowers are available from late March to October, and I also provide dried flowers throughout the year and winter wreaths too! I can supply weddings (including floristry), seasonal gift bouquets, floral subscriptions and workshops too. Just get in touch!
